Auto launch MIDlet on startup, when device reboots ?

Hello all,

I have very basic question.

How to autolaunch my "HelloWorld" MIDlet on startup, whenever device reboots ?

Are there any API's to achieve this functionality ?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Auto launch MIDlet on startup, when device reboots ?

Set the project properties Auto-run on startup in your JDE.

Tnx.

Re: Auto launch MIDlet on startup, when device reboots ?

Hello BBDeveloper,

Thanks for your reply.

In my project properties page, the settings are defined as follows,

project properties page-> Application tab -> Project type = "MIDlet" and not the "CLDC" application.

If you opt for "MIDlet" project type, the auto start up checkbox will be disabled.

Is there any other way I to specify, launching of MIDlet on startup ?

Thanks,
