Bad Dns address problem



 In my applcation some time i get bad dns address when i make http conection from my applcation .i m passing parameter devicside=true and url .can any one know is there any solution to this problem .how can i fix this issue .As per My RnD i think that problem happen only when some other application is making http conection and the port that i m using for making http conection is used by some other applcation due to which  i m getting problem .please let me know how i can i fix this problem .

is there any parameter for adding port to my url so that when i add the port to url then the problem would be solved 

please let me know if there is some help ...

This comes up about every week, please post details and let's see if we can find a pattern.

Carrier, url, etc. The DNS AFAIK is supposed to be provided by the carrier. I'm tempted to make only requests

based on IP and provide my own name server if I can get a host with a static IP address known to my application

( and have it lookup names using the DNS from its ISP).


Pattern to date is "port already bound" on ATT and whatever I posted earlier ( IIRC on Bloomberg url ) is from VZ.


I'm not entirely sure but I believe this is a silent-failure mechanism designed by carriers or others who provide competing

servers to degrade performance but I can't prove it. [ consider this a soliciation for opposing opinions, thanks ]
