BarcodeAPISample can only scan 1 QR code

I've loaded the BarcodeAPISample ( http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/How-to-use-the-Barcode-API/ta-p/574569 ) into my Torch 9800 (which runs OS 6) and it works perfectly for the first scan, but if I tap "No" in the dialog asking if I want to open the browser with the URL in the QR code, and then I tap "Scan" and try to scan the same QR code again, it doesn't work, the code is not detected.

Apparently, the BarcodeScanner should be reusable ( http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/6.0.0api/net/rim/device/api/barcodelib/BarcodeScanner.html ), but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Are the sample and/or the docs wrong?
