Best way to store private data in Blackberry

I am new to blackberry.I want to store some secret data in my blackberry application. which is the best method that i can adopt... Shall i proceed with RecordStore like

RecordStore  KeyStore=null;

KeyStore = RecordStore.openRecordStore(FileName,

                false, RecordStore.AUTHMODE_PRIVATE, false);

Or shall i use "keyStore"

    KeyStore KeyStore= null;

    KeyStore= DeviceKeyStore.getInstance();

    AssociatedData AssData= new AssociatedData(AssociatedData.NAME,buffer);

    keyStore.set(new AssociatedData[]{AssData},FileName, null,(long)0,null);

In the second way, a password prompt is thrown... My question is which is the best way to store private data in blackberry application? (or) Is there some thing else which i dont know.....

Re: Best way to store private data in Blackberry

As noted in one of your other posts (all of which are very similar, it woudl be better if you just posted once next time), there is a lot of information available by searching the forum.  Review the KB articles you will find using the aearch term 'persistent'.
