BlackBerry Desktop Service

I need to disable "Desktop Connectivity" Bluetooth service.

I don't have BES, so I can't change the policy (Bluetooth policy group -> disable desktop connectivity = true).

My device is 4.2.2, so I can't do it from the menu as far as I can tell (Options->Bluetooth->Options, then unchecking the "Desktop connectivity" checkbox).

So... How might I do this?

Re: BlackBerry Desktop Service

I don't see my answer in the provided thread.  It looks like he has the same question I do at the end of the thread.

Re: BlackBerry Desktop Service

If you are using a version of BlackBerry handheld software that doesn't allow the disabling of services in the device properties, then it is not possible to disable this from the BlackBerry.
