I'm busy downloading eclipse and then I'll try to apply the blackberry plugin via the update site.
Will let you know if it worked.
Its a real shocker that Blackberry makes it so difficult for new developers, I wonder if thats the reason there are so few blackberry apps compared to iPhone and Android?

The eclipse update link is just for the sdk, it does not contain the blackberry specific project details, I think its called JDE.
I found this url
it seems to be the correct file, I haven't tested it.
The url was posted in a forum link where the guy complains that the file did not contain the blackberry JDE, http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Develo
Let me know if you guys tested this, or if there is another link.

That last link is the same version that's been available for a few weeks.
Well at least DevZone means you don't have to enter all your details over and over again.
Now if they can only work out how to let us download.....
Edit: Having read through the Developer blog comments it appears certain fixes missed the build so I guess the file has been removed until a rebuild.

This is just pathetic.
I downloaded the older version, BlackBerry_JDE_PluginFull_220.127.116.11004161
When I try to run this file it tells me to please select another location to extract the installer to, it doesn't want me to install it anywhere on my machine.
