BlackBerry Signature Tool

Can BlackBerry Signature Tool be installed on multiple computers with JDE? Is there any limitation on it?

Re: BlackBerry Signature Tool

The Code Signing Keys are intended to be installed on one machine.  If you need more than one set of code signing keys then we would recommend that you purchase additional ones for additional machines.

Re: BlackBerry Signature Tool

If you have an existing set of valid code signing keys and want to switch to a new machine (or if you need to re-install) you can email devsupport@rim.com providing them with the following information:

Originally Registered Name:
Originally Registered Company name:
Originally Registered Email:
Originally Registered PIN:

Note that your previous set of working keys will no longer function if you perform this operation.

Re: BlackBerry Signature Tool

Hi!

I already have a set of valid code signing keys and I'm planning to install JDE Component Package 4.2 because right now I am using JDE 4.5.0. I read from the Release Notes of the Component Package that if i install the new Component Package, it would override the Signature Tool of the JDE. If i do this, what will happen to my valid code signing keys? will they still be able to function?

Re: BlackBerry Signature Tool

Yes, you can still use them.  Just make a note of this required work around.
