BlackBerry softkeys.

Hi,

BB doesn't has softkeys, what is the best method to implement a menu (like in Opera Mini) for BB?

What do you think about using left, right button as softkeys?

For left/right I mean the button located on the side of the phone.

Re: BlackBerry softkeys.

For BlackBerry its better to not give the buttons as user have to unecessarily navigate to button instead of this you can give all your options in menu. You can use buttons on storm as this one is touch device. To make menu you can use Menu and MenuItem classes.

Re: BlackBerry softkeys.

Thanks for your reply...

I don't want to know how to create a menu, I want to know how to permit users to navigate a menù without softkeys/touch support.

Re: BlackBerry softkeys.

User can easily navigate on menu using tracwheel or trackball. Smiley Happy

Re: BlackBerry softkeys.

I believe that you will find that the above variable is defined as 0x95
