Blackberry JDK source code

Hi,

I've looked around and cannot find where to download the source code for the Blackberry JDK. I am talking about the source code for their API classes like EditTextField, String, etc... Sun offers the source code to their JDK as a free download. It is most helpful to look at.

Also is there a place that I can download the HTML version of the API: IE what is here:

http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.7.0api/index.html

It seems like the site is often down, or very slow to respond. I would rather just work off a local copy.

Thanks.

Re: Blackberry JDK source code

RIM does not provide us with BlackBerry API source code.

There is no source code of RIM API available for public access.

The only way to read RIM API source code is to get hired by RIM Smiley Happy

Re: Blackberry JDK source code

Yes, source code is not available and documentation is shipped for example with JDE. You can find offline javadoc in instalation folder, usually "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.X.X\docs\api\index.html"
