Re: Blackberry SDCard access from main class

Hi all.

I know this is a solved thread but I just want to point out something I think is important.

peter_strange, the article you mentioned does not solved the problem. I had the same issue and try it but I found out that the "powerUp" method from SystemListener is called before the SDCard was mounted (real 9300 OS6 device).

I followed the solution from Ted_Hopp http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Access-DB-at-start-of-application/m-p/587459... and that did solve it.

So in the main method I added a SystemListener and in the powerUp method I added a FileSystemListener to detect the SDCard. Once detected, I initialized my stuff.

What do you think?

Re: Blackberry SDCard access from main class

Truthfully at a point I thought I was insane when peter was telling me otherwise .
