I can't seem to be able to sign any app with the Blackberry Signature Tool, returning the error:
General failure. Please try again. Server may be unavailable.
Is anybody else having the same problem?

It has been failing for me since last 6 hours. And RIM doesn't bother to make an announcement or let us know about the progress, nature of the problem and when is the estimated time of resolution.
What will I tell my client? Blackberry signer is down? And can I expect to do business with them? Sucks!

It has been over 7 hours now ,
And RIM can't even post an announcement?
All other companies ( Google, Skype, Twitter ) give updates, every single one of them . If their users/developers are affected, they atleast have the courtesy to tell them that its down, and the approximate timeframe. But not RIM, RIM just ignores all of its developers, and we are left with helplessly trying every 5-10 minutes.
Seriously this is the worst software platform that I have ever worked for, and seeing the type of response from RIM, and the way they treat their developers I wish I was not developing this application for blackberry. I just hope the blackberry ecosystem dies soon and makes way for android , iphone and windows phone.
WORST COMPANY EVER

Even the @SigningServer is not maintained by RIM.
It is maintained by one of the countless developers frustrated by RIM's pathetic infrastructure and treatment of developers.
