Bluetooth activation popup

I have a SPP bluetooth server running in the background. It is started using Connector.open("btspp://...");

It works fine as long as Bluetooth radio is activated. If not the call of Connector.open() makes the device software to activate the BT radio automatically. At this point there is always a popup asking the user to allow it. But there is no checkbox like for other permission dialogs, so it's getting shown each time starting the server.

Is there a way to get rid of this popup or at least to check the state of the BT radio to tell the user to activate Bluetooth manually?

using JDE 4.5.0 and OS 4.5.0 devices and bold.

Re: Bluetooth activation popup

Is your application a MIDlet or BlackBerry CLDC application?

Re: Bluetooth activation popup

There is no way to programmatically disable this prompt.  The user is asked to turn the Bluetooth radio on.
