Browser Control vs In Built Browser

I am developing an application that uses  to display HTML.

The HTML my designer has given me displays perfectly in the Blackberry browser, however in my application using the browser control the formatting of the page is all messed up.

The page uses CSS and has an HTML form.

Any ideas?

Re: Browser Control vs In Built Browser

The browser field does not use the new rendering engine found in version 4.6.0+ of the BlackBerry Browser.  It more closely matches that of version 4.5.0 (and lower) of the BlackBerry Browser.  This means the support for new elements that were added in 4.6.0 (i.e. new CSS tags, AJAX, etc...) is not available in a browser field.

Re: Browser Control vs In Built Browser

Is there a spec of what is and isn't supported?

Re: Browser Control vs In Built Browser

You can refer to the HTML for the BlackBerry Browser - Reference Guide found at the link below.  Features supported in version 4.5.0 and lower should work in the current browser field.

Re: Browser Control vs In Built Browser

To clarify, anything in 4.5.0 and lower would be supported.  So you can assume the 4.3.0 tags are supported.
