BrowserField orientation issue-local html

Hi,

I am using BrowserField to display a local html.

I referred to one of the BrowserField topic on the forum and following is my code

BrowserFieldConfig config = new BrowserFieldConfig();
config.setProperty(BrowserFieldConfig.VIEWPORT_WIDTH, new Integer(Display.getWidth()));
config.setProperty(BrowserFieldConfig.INITIAL_SCALE, new Float(1.0));
config.setProperty(BrowserFieldConfig.USER_SCALABLE, Boolean.FALSE);
BrowserField myBrowserField = new BrowserField(config);

myBrowserField.requestContent("local:///first.html");

add(myBrowserField)

  • This code works fine on Storm 2 but when I load it onto Torch, in the landscape mode it does not stretch to fit to screen, it shows up with portrait dimensions.This did not happen in Storm2.In storm 2 the size of font used to increase and decrease as the orientation changed, which was not a big issue as the same happens with BB browser on Storm 2.
  • Also,when I click on one of the links in this html page, and navigate to the proper location after this if I change the orientation to landscape, the text displayed is shifted up or down.

Can anyone help me in this issue?

Thanks!

Re: BrowserField orientation issue-local html

is local:/// same as file:///store.....

I've to reterive data store on file:///store path in browserfield. but getting error: null...
