Can not get Icons out of Downloads Folder

Hi,

I connected my Blackberry Storm 1 to my computer to test two apps through the Eclipse debugger.  They went into the downloads folder.  I wanted to delete them.

I used the menu/delete to delete them.  However, two generic icons remained with the names of the apps on them.  The menu button no longer works on them.  When I click on them, I get an alert 'module handel ##### not found'.

How do I get these two icons cleared out?.

Re: Can not get Icons out of Downloads Folder

What BlackBerry device software version are you testing on?  You can find this under Options, About on the BlackBerry Smartphone.

Have you tried to perform a hard reset (battery pull)?

Re: Can not get Icons out of Downloads Folder

you can delete files "manually" using the javaloader command line tool (find it in the bin folder of your plugin folder)

the syntax would be
javaloader -u erase -f codname.cod

Not sure what happened.  However, the problem fixed itself.  The device I use is a Blackberry storm 1.  I don't use it as phone anymore.  It's just a testing device.  Anyway, the battery ran down to nothing.  Even plugged into a power source, it took a few minutes to get going.  That's how drained it was.  After it came back, the icons where gone.

I think this is the same solution asMSohm's so I'm giving them the credit.
