Can the Nuance Voice Control be extended?

I had a Treo 750 (Windows Mobile 6.1) before I got my Bold.  It did more things with Voice Command than Voice Control does on the Bold.  For example, I could ask: "What time is it?" and I got the time.  I could ask: "What are my meetings?", and it would list them for me.

I just want to know, is it possible to extend the Nuance Voice Control?  I went to the Nuance website and left a message, and the message was ignored.  Guess I am not important enough for them.  I wanted to buy an upgrade, since I use it so much, but there is no mention of anything like that.

I also wonder if I can just write something in Java to extend this functionality.

Re: Can the Nuance Voice Control be extended?

If you get a chance to use the Nuance API's yes you can. But not sure how far they are going to expose the API to thirt party application developers.

Use Search. "Accept Solution" If the problem is resolved.
