ClassCastEXCEPTION

EncodedImage encImg =
                                  GIFEncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource("loading.gif");
                                GIFEncodedImage ourAnimation = (GIFEncodedImage) encImg;

 

i GET CLASS CAST EXCEPTION ONT HAT

 

But if  i do

 

EncodedImage encImg =
                                  GIFEncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource("loading.agif");
                                GIFEncodedImage ourAnimation = (GIFEncodedImage) encImg;

 

if i do .agif file it works,  why?

maybe you enabled the "turn all pictures to png" option?

in the BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml on the build tab
