Is there a way to attach to a customer's phone remotely to see what's happening inside an app?
I have customers having problems that don't occur in most phones of the same model or in the simulator, and it's just ridiculous to keep sending them test versions that print out debugging information. Some problems are so obscure that they will never be solved unless I either had the device sent to me or can attach remotely and debug properly, and also use javaloader remotely to upload new test code iterations without making the customer download 4 attachments from an e-mail every time.

No, there is no way to perform remote debugging on a BlackBerry smartphone. It must be connected to your PC over USB.
Logging errors that a user can send back to you is the most common way to handle this.
