In the fourth connection string you mention, WAP2, there is an error. The deviceside parameter's value must be separated from the ConnectionUID parameter using a semicolon and not a comma.

FYI, all connections are automatically closed after two minutes. To keep a socket open you need to send a keep alive message. But use Push, don't keep a socket alive.

Ur post is really useful.. I am trying for to display the contents of a remote xml file through a xml parser.
I have used
HttpConection conn = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(_xmlFileName + ";interface=Wifi");
to access the following xml
String _xmlFileName = "http://192.168.2.61/fb/webservice/login_check.php?
The above url is accessed and the xml contents are bieng displayed in my application..
But the problem is ' I want to access the above xml file using airtel(sim card) mobile network'.
Please help me with a solution..
