Continous bluetooth search

[ Edited ]

Hello friends

I am searching for bluetooth device through the following:

discoveryAgent = localDevice.getDiscoveryAgent();

discoveryAgent.startInquiry(DiscoveryAgent.GIAC, this);

On

inquiryCompleted(int discType)

I again wish to restart the search of blueooth device by using startenquiry method, since I am looking for generating an alarm as soon as I will came across a perticular device, but it is not working. Ont he second time in loop when I am starting startinquiry it is not going to device discovered. Is it the problem of thread? Can anyone please suggest me the solution?

Re: Continous bluetooth search

Hi, can you confirm if you are using the same code based on the "bluetoothjsr82demo" sample application that comes as part of your jde installation? If this issue still persist, can you please share a code snippet based off this sample that reproduces this issue?
