Creating a bar equivalent to Progress bar or Volume bar

[ Edited ]

I want to create a Bar (like that of Volume Bar or Progress bar) . A Bar as such which is a rectangle and has a default colour say Black, then when i touch the bar from one side to other it changes colour to the point where till i   touched it

My research says one can use TouchEvent.MOVE for this .But am confused as to how to proceed about it Please Guide me

I want that a touchevent should simulate the progress
i.e. if i put a finger and press from start point to middle of progress bar it should give that reading of color Green

Hi,

In that SliderField you have to take.

 Advanced UI\src\com\samples\toolkit\ui\component

Re: Creating a bar equivalent to Progress bar or Volume bar

Can't we use getMovePoints() method to extract the points being touched in this project
