Custom Browser Settings

Is there any way to customize the browser without using a browser field (I don't want to mess with handling cookies, etc.)?

For example if I click the "Email Settings" icon on my blackberry it opens the browser but the background image is my carriers logo and the status bar has my wireless carriers name.

I don't think this is using a browser field because if I do "Switch Application" it is listed as browser and if I open the browser from the home screen without exiting "Email Settings" it brings up the same page with the customized status bar.

Re: Custom Browser Settings

No, there are no APIs that allow you to customize the browser in this way.
