DNS Server Question

    Hi I just gonna ask on how do you get the DNS server of a blackberry phone?. I've been looking through the api and I can't find anything that gets the DNS server Is there any way to get this? Thanks in advance.DNS Serve Question

Could you explain reason why do you need access to routing process?

I need the dns server to connect to a udp socket like the dns application in the blackberry device is it possible to do this?

no. the api does not expose these information.

Is there any work around on how to do this because im doing a class like a dns resolver getting the ip address based on the host name

Take a look to http://www.xbill.org/dnsjava/

 

It's not compatible with BB JRE but you could get insights about DNS protocol
