Debugger question: want to see values and not OIDs

In the debugger, which is working fine otherwise, in the various variable display windows there is a column named "Value".  It isn't, for the most part, showing the value, but instead something like @1234abcd, which I'm guessing is some kind of object id.

How can I arrange to see the actual value associated with variables/objects?  I've checked and am building in Debug mode.

 Thank you.

Re: Debugger question: want to see values and not OIDs

Is this on the simulator or on a real device?

You will probably find the name field associated has a little "+" which enables you to expand the object out , and eventually you will get to the primitives involved.

You may also find the Help useful.  Click on the Help menu item, choose IDE Help, and then look for "Debugging applications".
