I'm developing a java app for an 8330 using the BB JDE 184.108.40.206, trying to access any of the classes in the Decor package. Even running the decor demo, I get a runtime error:
Class 'net.rim.device.api.ui.decor.Border' not found.
Linker error: 'VerifyError' for decordemo
Error starting decordemo: Class 'net.rim.device.api.ui.decor.Border' not found.
Previously, I was using an earlier version of the JDE, and I'd be able to declare a variable of type Border, and it would not complain, but BorderFactory, nor the decor namespace existed. I've switched between the JDK 1.5 and 1.4 several times, and I still recieve the same results. It doesn't break during a compile, but only during a run on the simulator. It shows the "source code is not available" from C:\NoSuchFile.java" when entering the debugger.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
