Re: Download BlackBerry MDS Developer Tools

Are you referring to MDS Studio?  It was removed from our web site over a year ago and is no longer supported.

Re: Download BlackBerry MDS Developer Tools

Thanks Sohm,

I am writting a blackberry application for OS 5.0. Application needs to connect to internet using BES - MDS service.

As per my knowledge, device should be registered with BES server. But I dont know much in detail.

Can you please tell me what all I need to do in the application coding?

Thanks and Regards,

Manoj Kumar

Re: Download BlackBerry MDS Developer Tools

Ok, that's different.  This link should help explain the different routes available:

Different ways to make an HTTP or socket connection

The MDS Connection Service simulator is included with the BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse and BlackBerry JDE.  It can be used to simulate the BES data connection for your application.
