Downloading Cod files

Hi,

We have hosted the Jad & COD files in Sharepoint Server. And Trying to download the Cod files by entering the URL  line http://****/MyApp.Jad in the Browser.

But when I enter it is Hitting the URL but the Download screen is not appearing. Only a message is shown "The Item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to Save? YES/No" On clicking yes in the Media Card only the jad file is saved the Cod files are not Downloaded and saved,

please tell me how to Host Cod files in SharePoint server as we do it inetmgr.

Is it possible to Download the Cod files via Sharepoint server?

Re: Downloading Cod files

check if your server recognizes jad/cod mimetypes, if not, add them.

I dont think MIME type can be mentioned in Share Point setup.

Can the Download setup be made in SharePoint server?

Re: Downloading Cod files

now you are asking sharepoint questions, i have never used that so i cannot assist you there.
maybe you ask in a microsoft forum?
or try with a mini http server on your own PC first if the mimetype declaration solves your issue.
