Dynamic Animation

Hi,

i am using:

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Display-an-animated-GIF/ta-p/445014

to display a animated gif for when my app is busy doing things on other threads.

is it possible to have a holding bitmap, which is replaced by a animated gif and vice-versa.

i know using .setBitmap() the same can be done with a static image. any code would be grateful.

thanks in advance

Re: Dynamic Animation

That particular sample expects a GIF.  It could be modified to accept a bitmap as well or you could just use a regular BitmapField to display your bitmap image, which would be simpler to implement.
