Eclipse Project Error

Hey, all.  I had some free time, so I went back and finally got the BB plugin installed with Eclipse on Win7.  I'm having some troubles, though.  If I try to import one of the sample projects from RIM, it won't build them, often having duplicate class errors.  If I start a new project, I can get it to run in the emulator, but the build process gives me a null pointer error.  Can anyone help me make sense of this?  Here is the log:

!ENTRY org.eclipse.core.jobs 4 2 2010-08-21 03:55:32.292

!MESSAGE An internal error occurred during: "Packaging HelloBB".

Re: Eclipse Project Error

What version of Eclipse and the Java Plug-in do you have installed?

Re: Eclipse Project Error

I get the same NullPointerException but at a different location. Mine seems to be when trying to find the destination folder, yours seems to be trying to figure out the VM version.

Can't really help you as I have not been able to solve it myself.

Re: Eclipse Project Error

That looks like the same version that I am running which is working OK.

Have you checked that you have the latest through software update?

What version of Java are you using?  JDK1.6u21 causes some problems with Eclipse.  Are you using this version?

Re: Eclipse Project Error

Are you using 64bit Windows or 32bit? If 64bit and 64bit Java, try installing a 32bit JDK

Remember to pick a JDK bundle and pick 32bit.

Hope this helps!
