You must install the plugin by using the Eclipse software update facility (Help-->Software Updates). Otherwise, the plugin won't be recognized. See this: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/devbetasoftware/Install_Web_Dev_Plugin_ZIP.pdf

I'm surprised BB did not quickly correct their installation instructions. Installing via the update facility was the third and last option I tried. This cost me more than 8 hours.

I have faced the same error, What i simply do is:

>>> If you got this error after  manually updating your eclipse(adding sum new plugin and/or some other things) then change your workspace. Changing the "workspace" will solve your problem. This will work in most of cases. Smiley Happy

Hi Ankit,

I haveboth of BlackBerry JRE 6.0.0 & BlackBerry JRE 7.0.0. & i may switch in between these two jre as accordingly. Currently using 6.0.0
