Exception java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException Eclipse

hi,

I'm new to using Eclipse to develop my applications Blackberry I am currently developing an application in Eclipse, but when I try to debug displays the following message

Exception processing async thread queue  Exception processing async thread queue  java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException

     Exception processing async thread queue

     processing async thread queue

     java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException

//code which produce the message

private BitmapField mapField;

private ScreenMenu menu;

public ScreenLoginUser() {

// TODO Auto-generated constructor stub

super(new ManagerScreenLoginUser(0));

-->breakpoint       Font fuente = this.getFont();

fuente = fuente.derive(Font.BOLD, 22);

       mapField = new BitmapField();

had already been tested for this same application on the BlackBerry JDE 4.5.0 and it worked

anyone can suggest some solutions to this problem
thanks

Re: Exception java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException Eclipse

Are you receiving this error in Eclipse using SDK 4.5.0 or are you receiving the error using another one (4.6.0, 4.7.0, 5.0.0)?

Re: Exception java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException Eclipse

Once you remove the getFont() line does it still give you the UnsupportedOperationException?

In the APIs dating back to 4.5, Screen.getFont() is a function. If you are not calling this method from a subclass of Screen (such as your own MainScreen), let me know.
