Extract child .cod files from parent .cod ???

For bberry 8830 OS 4.2.2.196 do I or do i not have to extract child .cod files from their parent???

Documentation seems to indicate that I don't have to extract them, but testing indicates that I do.

Also, I saw something in the docs that it depended on whether your bberry was using a BES or not. So if I want to deploy to both BES and non-BES bberrys, what is the best way to do it?

Thanks.

It's been my experience that always unzipping is safe.

Re: Extract child .cod files from parent .cod ???

Thanks. It just seems sort of dumb for RIM to go to the trouble of putting a .cod file together which is really just a .zip file of stuff we have to unzip in order to deploy it.
