FTP: Can't open data connection.

Hi,
I'm researching how to upload/download file to FTP server. I had found topic "Problems with GZip & FTP" of egirotto, and i tried to use that class. It's run successfully with normal FTP commands as PWD, CWD, TYPE ..., but when i tried to upload 1 file, i got an issue as below:

> CWD Test
< 250 CWD command successful.
> LIST
< 150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
< 226 Transfer complete.
> PASV
< 227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,1,35,4,112).
Try to open passive connection to socket://192.168.1.35:1136;deviceside=false
> STOR BlueDress.png
< 425 Can't open data connection.

I see BlueDress.png file in FTP server, but it's an empty file (0 byte). My enviroment: WinXP, JDE 4.7, BB8320 simulator, use MDS.
I think my local computer could not open passive connection by firewall or some thing like that.
Please help me find out what's happened and how to solve this problem.
Thanks.

Re: FTP: Can't open data connection.

Is this not a problem on your FTP Server and nothing to do with the BlackBerry?

Re: FTP: Can't open data connection.

I think FTP server don't have problem. I had tested it by some way as FileZila client, FTP via command prompt or other application (.NET). It's run Ok. About my blackberry simulator, I'm not sure what happen in it.

Thanks.

Re: FTP: Can't open data connection.

This appears to be a networking issue, not a development one.  It looks like your FTP application is unable to connect to your server using IP 192.168.1.35 and port 1136.  If you search active and passive FTP modes on the web you can find many explanations on how they work.
