FTPClient problem..

Hi,

        i have downloaded  the jar file  and imported  it  in my project .

       and use the below code

       FTPClient mFTPClient = new FTPClient();

      con.connect("120.58.11.98");       at this line it shows the below errors

    - The type java.net.InetAddress cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class
     files
    - The type java.net.SocketException cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from
     required .class files
    - The method connect(String) from the type SocketClient refers to the missing type SocketException

Pls, suggest.......

Re: FTPClient problem..

sounds as if you are trying to use a desktop java library, that won't work as BB is based on J2ME.

Re: FTPClient problem..

if you cannot get a lib to run you'll have to implement the protocol yourself on a socketconnection, its not that complex.
