Fine grained User Permissions for Blackberry 8310

Is there a way for a user to specify permisions for an application such that the application can know the phone number (of the phone on which it is residing) but cannot access outgoing phone numbers/SMS numbers? In the current Permissions menu, a user can specify Connections-->Phone as Allow, Prompt, Deny etc but does not appear to have the desired fine-grained setting...Is there a way out?

Re: Fine grained User Permissions for Blackberry 8310

There is no way to do this using application permissions on the device.

However, you should repost this question over in the BES forum - I believe that BES actually has more fine-grain security controls. Not sure if it meets your requirement, though.
