Focus / Unfocus spoils fields when using custom fields - Help

I am hoping that someone can help me with an issue I am seeing with a screen that contains a VerticalScreenManager which in turn contains a number of custom HorizontalFieldManagers, each containing a LabelField and an EditField.

Note: I am using a customer HorizontalFieldManager so that I can use sublayout to possible to field as I need them.

The purpose of the screen is to allow the user to scroll through the fields and on focus on the edit fields.

However as the user scrolls and the fields loose and gain focus the "focus highlighting" is not "cleaned" from the previous field and so there is spoiling: multiple fields have the "focus highlighting"

I have seen several similar other topics in the forum but nothing quite the same.

- Vertical Field Manager (standard)

-- HorizontalFieldManager (custom) - LabelField - EditField

-- HorizontalFieldManager (custom) - LabelField - EditField

-- HorizontalFieldManager (custom) - LabelField - EditField

It seems that when scrolling the HorizontalFieldManager is getting and loosing the focus, but not repainting itself? Is that possible?

I am using OS 5.0.

Many thanks,

Re: Focus / Unfocus spoils fields when using custom fields - Help

It seems that the problem was the VerticalFieldManager did not have the sae color background as the fields within it, and so when the focus and unfocus were painted the VerticalFieldManager background color was painted, I am not sure why this was, and if it is a bug in the 5.0 OS, but when I set the background color in the VerticalFieldManager I did not see the problem.

I have a similar problem . i have a vertical field manager with multiple horizontal field managers . each horizontal field managers has three label fileds. i need to have blue color in alternating horizontal field managers. i have customised it successfully to gain that appearance , but when i scroll thru the different horizontal field managers  they loose and gain the blue color randomly . any idea how to fix this repainting ?
