GPS query question..

Will i get Location Exception after 120 secs if dont get GPS location  :

try{
Criteria c = new Criteria();
c.setPreferredResponseTime(120000);
LocationProvider lp = LocationProvider.getInstance(c);
}catch(LocationException e){
..
}

And instead of using

setPreferredResponseTime(120000);

if i use

lp.getLocation(120);

 will then also i will get LocationException after 120 secs.

Thanx..

Regards

Rammy

Re: GPS query question..

If you find that the action you see on the device does not match the JavaDocs, then you can shout at RIM.  I suspect in this case, that the API documentation is accurate.

Re: GPS query question..

means getLocation(120) method must throw LocationException after 120 secs if it does not get any location.. Right??
