I'm trying to develop my first BB application, widget to be specific, been studying and researching, currently i'm trying to run the HTTPPushDemo application, found here:
I reach to the point where i need to run the server-side application using the run.bat in the server component folder, i guess i need this to start so i can push messages to the client-side application.
I can't start it, everytime i run the run.bat i get the following message:

have you read read.txt that is with the httppushdemo? you first need to implement all the 13 steps....and there is i think you need to start MDS and EES and then you need to start the server then start server then start hettppushdemo . i cant find MDS n EES running on your computer from your screenshot.

I agree with the previous poster however looking at the screen shot I notice that you seem to have moved the sample and you do not seem to have access to a java compiler (can't find javac). You will need to fix that - perhaps by installing the full JDK?

I did read the the readme that came with the sample, i followed step by step, MDS was started, and i get to the step where i need to start the server (one that came with sample) by running run.bat, and that's when i get that screenshot.
I'll try like peter said and install full JDK.
