Handling HTTP Redirection (302) Manually on HTTPConnection

Hi All,

I hope someone from RIM can help me about my question here..

I need to get HTTP 302 from my web service,

but some how, the MDS simulator handle the HTTP 302 automatically,

so what I get from my HTTPConnection is the final URL with HTTP 200.

I already prove this case with the WireShark, the web service return HTTP 302,

but never reach my app, the MDS simulator automatically get the Redirected Location URL,

and the final URL will be received by my HTTP connection.

I test with the BIS-B connection,

the problem still exist,

the BIS server handle my HTTP 302 automatically,

so I just got HTTP 200 from the final URL.

is there any way for developer to push the BIS server not to handle the HTTP Redirection?

for example with the specific HTTP header or something?

ps: i found statement from MSohm that the BIS server should not Redirected automatically, here http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/HttpConnection-gets-redirected-in-the-simula...

I am having exactly the same problem. i.e., BIB-B server is handling the redirect for me, which is creating some issue for my client side.

Any way to disable the automatic redirect on BIB-B server?

Thanks.
