Hot Swapping Despperation

Hi there,

I changed my computer a while back now,

and when I set-up everything on this computer everytime I try to hot swap any application

using Eclipse with Blackberry java plugin for eclipse it doesn't do anything.

I have to close and reopen the emulator. I've tried EVERYTHING but with no luck.

Im desperate here, can someone give me a hand please?

Re: Hot Swapping Despperation

What version of Windows are you using?  Windows Vista and 7 can lock down the Program Files directories, preventing applications from writing there.  So if you've installed Eclipse or one of the BlackBerry Smartphone Simulators there, the tool may not be able to copy the COD files to the required directory.

You can work around that Windows restrictions by installing to another location.

Re: Hot Swapping Despperation

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium, I tried a workoround for the pemission issue with no luck.
It worked with an older version of the Eclipse plugin "1.3.0" , but it is a pain to re- setup everything.
for some reason the latest version of the plugin won't let me hot swap.
