Hi.

I mean level that you can control by CONTROL_VOLUME_DOWN and CONTROL_VOLUME_UP keys.

Re: How can I get current Volume level on device?

After you have the "player", this is the code to get the VolumeControl:

VolumeControl vc = (VolumeControl) _player.getControl("VolumeControl");

and then call:

vc.getLevel();

to get current volume level.

Re: How can I get current Volume level on device?

HI dear,

try with following steps:

1. First get the object of Player class

     Player  _player = Manager.createPlayer(vUrl);

2. Get the object of volume control

     VolumeControl vc = (VolumeControl) _player.getControl("VolumeControl");

3. Then use following method

     vc.getLevel();

to get current volume level.

Thanks

Thanks & Regards
