How do we sign a midlet?

Hi,

 

I wrote a midlet which does two things that could be possible security concerns:

 

  1) Opens an http connection

  2) Reads/writes from the record store.

 

so I guess I need to sign my midlet, but I'm not sure where to begin with this. Is there a doc which details how to go about doing this? I did not see one in the resources section,

You can refer to the JavaDocs for the classes used by your application to determine if they need signing.  Recent versions of the BlackBerry JDE also give a warning about signing requirements when the application is built.
