How to create decent Tabbed View

[ Edited ]

Hi.

I am developing an application where i need to categorize things in tabbed view.

Is there any way to create decent tabbed view?

like the ones which blackberry uses for native apps?

I am attaching a screenshot of what kinda tabs i desite to have.

If yes or no, what models will support this feature??

please assist.

As far as I know there isn't anything built into the api to do this (as there is for the iPhone). You will have to roll this yourself. i.e. code it, and create your own images.

Not too hard though. Set up a vertical field manager and add your buttons to it.

Re: How to create decent Tabbed View

There was a short time where it was a undocumented API (which worked) but based on what was available they weren't sure what was the best way to go about it. They had 2 versions that had different methods, they both did the same thing but in different ways.

I have a feeling it's a matter of time before they release it publicly.
