Hi,

I want to know , how one can create different Mail box or Folders for different configured mail accouts on blackberry bu using java code. so that all tha mails from different mail accounts can not go to same mail box.

Please suggest me. Its urgent.

It is not possible to programmatically create mail folders from a Java application.  The mail folder structure is supplied by a BlackBerry Enterprise Server and/or BlackBerry Internet Service account.

I'd like to see this ability added to the API also, it would make some things I'm working on much easier. Maybe for a future version?

Re: How to create new Email Box for new registered email account.

BlackBerry JDE and BlackBerry handheld software version 4.6.0 does add the ApplicationMessageFolder class.  This does allow for creation of a folder that an application can place messages in.

Note that you can not create sub folders within a user's existing mail folders.

Thats great since I'm targeting 4.6 anyway :-D Does it allow for creation of subfolders inside the created folder? (I would imagine so, but it wasn't clear)

No, all folders are created at the same level.
