How to debug a midlet in BlackBerry simulator

How can I debug my normal midlet application in BlackBerry simulator from Eclipse? Is it even possible? I'm using Eclipse Pulsar and I have installed BlackBerry JDE and BlackBerry Plugin for Eclipse.

Re: How to debug a midlet in BlackBerry simulator

It is definitely possible to debug a MIDlet on the BlackBerry simulator. But there is a catch. In order to debug a MIDlet here you need the debug files. For the BlackBerry JDE or Eclipse plug-in that means you would need your MIDlet as a BlackBerry project first. You can't just debug a JAD and JAR.

Is your MIDlet a BlackBerry project? If not it will be extremely easy to make a BlackBerry project, throw your files in it, select the MIDlet main class, and debug away.

PS: I believe you can export your midlet as a JAD/JAR combo for multiple platforms instead of the BlackBerry COD format. So don't be scared about the BlackBerry project thing.
