In JDE when you run from menu "Build->Build all and Run" a new window appears.
When you run your app - take a look into this new window (or frame).
All your System.out.println() messages will appear in that window.
You may also open this window (if it is closed) via menu: "View->Output".
If you want to log application flow use the following class instead of System.out.println() calls:
To open log on real device press "Alt" on keyboard, hold it and press keys: LGLG

I have the same problem with System.out.println.
I'll explain you:
I use neither the Eclipse nor BlackBerry's JDK for my developpement.
I convert my .jar file by using the rapc tool. So, the .cod files are generated.
I launch the BlackBerry simulator: 9700.bat (there's another output windows: i think it's output windows). Then load my app (cod files).
But i didn't see the System.out.println in the output windows.
Have you any idea to help me ?
Thanks very much.

1. open 9700.bat in edit mode and add "/app-param=JvmDebugFile:bblog.txt"
e.g. for 8100.bat
@echo off fledge.exe /app=Jvm.dll /handheld=8100 /session=8100 /app-param=DisableRegistration /app-param=JvmAlxConfigFile:8100.xml /data-port=0x4d44 /data-port=0x4d4e /pin=0x2100000A @echo off fledge.exe /app=Jvm.dll /handheld=8100 /session=8100 /app-param=DisableRegistration /app-param=JvmDebugFile:bblog.txt /app-param=JvmAlxConfigFile:8100.xml /data-port=0x4d44 /data-port=0x4d4e /pin=0x2100000A
2. save and close.
3. create a bblog.txt file in same folder.
4. start the simulator.
all system.out.println will come in that file.

Thanks for your help.
It works, but ... is it possible to filter the others info out. I just want System.out.println in my application .
The others output of JVM are many , so it's difficult to find System.out.println in my own application.
