How to implement ReentrantLock in BLackberry

Hi guys,

 

Im new to balckberry and im looking for a way to implement ReentrantLock in a java application. I have looked for support but i hardly could find any. Does any one know how this could be done

as BB is based on java 1.4 (1.3) newer methods are not available.
as the java sourcecode is available you may be able to reimplement this functionality, but i would look at the available things, like synchronize, first.

Well I tried using the reentrant itself but i cannot import it. But i think synchrinized is gonna work for me
