How to include text & binary files into the build artifact

I've added a property file & a binary file to

the subdirectory "res" of my project.

In eclipse, I can choose ALT+ENTER and add icon files to the generated artifacts.

Do I have to run rapc manually to add my custom files ?

Thanks

P.S. What is difference between icon and focus icon files ?

Re: How to include text & binary files into the build artifact

Hi peter,

Yes I know how to read in the custom files but when we package the app, the custom files need to be added to the generated JAR or COD files, no?

After a bit of fiddling around, I added the project/res directory into my build path. And it is working.

Re: How to include text & binary files into the build artifact

In the JDE, if you add the files to the project, they will be automatically put in the jar/cod files.  I add things like like icons, pictures or even standard bits of XML text in this way.  Not sure this answers the question.  If not, can you ask again?
