How to listen to a received PIN message in the Messages Folder

Here is what i did,

  • I have implemented the FolderListner, and i have added it to the "store"
  • I have implemented the messageAdded(FolderEvent)
  • Then I have added the Message.PIN_MESSAGE test code to check for the PIN message

The problem is:

I only get the PIN messages I send listened to, it never listens for the recieved message.

Re: How to listen to a received PIN message in the Messages Folder

I have not checked on the newer OSes, but there was an issue with pin messages not having the PIN_MESSAGE flag set. To get around this you would need to check every message and see if the @ sign is in the address to determine if it is an email or pin message.
