How to make BlackBerry Desktop Manager see Intellisync add-in?

How to make BlackBerry Desktop Manager see Intellisync add-in?
Posted: Jul 23, 2008 4:07 PM

I am using NSIS installer script to install a Desktop application that uses Intellisync to sync data with the app on the BB device.

I was refering:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/resources /journals/jul_2005/vb_desktop_addin_pt_1.jsp#SeeAd din

In the past, I have used RAPI sync, which initiated sync from within the desktop application.

Can you guide me as to how to make Intellisync recognize my add-in? There is something that needs to be done in the registry, but I am not 100% sure what needs to be done..

Thanks for your help.

Desktop Manager does not support the addition of other Intellisync modules.  Desktop Manager does support Add-ins, but they are listed in another location.  Please ensure that you have check off Run Add-ins in the Synchronize section of Desktop Manager.
